The Diploma in Accounting (DACC) at Sunway College Ipoh is a 2-year, 6-semester programme designed for students who want to build strong foundations in accounting, finance, and business. Progression Pathway
Graduates of the Diploma in Accounting can:
- Progress directly into ACCA Foundation in Accountancy (AFIA) and then to the ACCA Qualification
- Enter the Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business (Applied Skills level) with exemptions
- Continue into degree-level studies in accounting, finance, or business-related fields at Sunway University and other recognised institutions
This makes the programme an excellent choice for students who wish to study accounting in Malaysia and pursue professional qualifications such as ACCA or a degree in accounting.

Intakes
Entry Requirements
- SPM / O-Level: Pass with a minimum of 3 credits, including Mathematics and a pass in English
- UEC: Pass with a minimum of 3Bs, including Mathematics and a pass in English
- Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3: In a related field, and pass SPM with 1 credit in Mathematics and a pass in English
- Certificate (MQF Level 3): In a related field, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, and a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level
- Other equivalent qualifications as recognised by the Malaysian Government
English Competency (International Students)
- MUET Band 3 or IELTS 4.0 (or equivalent)
