This program is undertaken through research and is evaluated by oral presentations and reports at several stages, including a proposal defense, regular half-yearly progress monitoring at research colloquiums, work completion defense, thesis examination, and viva voce. Students must complete one taught module on Research Methodology in order to get the necessary expertise to conduct their research efficiently. Regular conversations with supervisors are anticipated to assure the direction of research, as well as the quality and significance of the findings.

Entry Requirements

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computing or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 3.00, or its equivalent qualification as accepted by the Senate.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computing or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 3.00 can be accepted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.

• Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the Senate and with relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.

• Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses.

(Bachelor’s Degree must be in an area of Science and Technology related to Computing)
