About this course

This programme offers a broad range of topics covering Chinese and Western culinary arts and sciences. Through theoretical and practical application, students will also develop their intellectual and professional competencies to meet the ever-growing industry's demand for a new generation of well-rounded chefs who have multi-culinary and management skills, as well as a professional mindset and work attitude. 

Students will enter either one of the Streams below in the third semester, so as to enhance their professional knowledge and skills in the respective study area:

  • Western Cuisine (ICI campus)
  • Chinese Cuisine (CCI campus)

Entry Requirements

International Students:

  • Applicants with academic qualifications obtained in secondary or tertiary institutions outside Hong Kong will be assessed individually by the departments concerned.
  • IGCSE, GCE, International Baccalaureate (IB) or other overseas qualifications which are comparable with the required levels of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education will be accepted.
  • IELTS overall score at 5 or equivalent
