About this course

This programme equips students with professional knowledge and practical skills for the wine, beverage, and catering industry. After receiving professional qualifications and undergoing industrial attachments, graduates may pursue a career in the wine and beverage or catering industry; or further their education at bachelor degree level in either local or overseas universities; and/or pursue further professional qualifications in their areas of interest.

The programme has professional recognition from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET), L’Ecole du Vin de Bordeaux (France), Consejo Regulador de la D.O. 'Jerez Xeres Sherry' (Spain), The Royal Society for Public Health of the United Kingdom and the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department of the Hong Kong SAR Government. 

Entry Requirements

International Students:

  • Applicants with academic qualifications obtained in secondary or tertiary institutions outside Hong Kong will be assessed individually by the departments concerned.
  • IGCSE, GCE, International Baccalaureate (IB) or other overseas qualifications which are comparable with the required levels of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education will be accepted.
  • IELTS overall score at 5 or equivalent
